A little background for everyone who hasn't been around since the beginning…
We've been doing shows for YEARS.
Long before TH3 V0iD, we were throwing pop-up shows out of our tattoo shops. Even back at the original shop — Contraband — we'd bring people together for music, tattoos, art, and just a good time.
Over the years, we've seen a LOT of faces come through. Some became regulars. Some became friends. Some became family.
After taking a hiatus for a few years, we started doing after-parties again when we moved the tattoo studio to Mesquite. At first, it might've been 10 or 15 people. Then it grew. Before we knew it, we were packing hundreds of people into a 4,000-square-foot active tattoo studio.
It wasn't a nightclub. It wasn't some giant empty warehouse built for dancing. It was a working tattoo shop that somehow turned into one hell of an after-hours gathering place.
Eventually, we knew we needed something different.
Where the name came from
The name TH3 V0iD literally came from a conversation — the question was basically: "What would be a good name for something that's meant to fill the void?" Because that's exactly what we felt was missing. You might have one kind of event on Thursday, something completely different Friday and Saturday, and another scene doing its own thing Sunday. But what happens to everybody in between? Where's the place where all those different people, sounds, styles, and backgrounds can cross paths?
Fill the void.
And there it was. TH3 V0iD.
What we're building
That's what we're trying to build. Not one genre. Not one crowd. Not one clique. Not one type of person.
A collective.
A collection of people from completely different backgrounds who eventually realize we're really not that different at all.
Everybody brings something different to the room. And together, hopefully, we build a community.
Where we are now
We've only been in this new location for about two months, so we're rebuilding. We're meeting new people, building a new crowd, and hoping some of those familiar faces from the old days eventually find their way back home. But we've been going strong since November of last year — which means our one-year mark is coming. And we're definitely going to celebrate it.
One year. Coming soon.
Halloween. Thanksgiving. Christmas. Special events. After-parties. And plenty of things we haven't announced yet.
Different scenes. Different sounds. Different backgrounds.
One collective.
We're just trying to FILL TH3 V0iD.
And there's room in it for everybody.
